The 'Know Yourself' assignment in chapter 9 of my guide to college success had me fill out a chart involving how I do in certain aspects of writing assignments. The results were nothing new to me as after I wrote the paper which was used to fill in the chart it was really clear what my weaknesses were. Basically while I have good grammar and diction, and I have a clear idea of what it is I want to say and what I'm being asked, when it comes to actually writing it out I have trouble when it comes to organizing and structuring my paper so it's clear. My professor talked to me and said what I should do is write down my main points as I'm thinking of what to write instead of just thinking about it in my head so that I actually see it on paper and that might help me see how to structure everything.
