One great thing about the muse classes is the peer mentors. Having a peer mentor is a new experience to me and I really like having one. My peer mentor Anna has been a huge help this year. Between making it clear what we are being asked to do on certain assignments and correcting the syllabus with things like due date, she has saved me many times already. What I like the most about the peer mentors is how they work on two levels; they work along side the professor so they have a solid understanding of the course and the assignments and everything, but they are also a student just like us so they can see things from our perspective and act as a liaison between us and the professor making everything alot more transparent.
